I am going to use this page to upload various music pieces that groups at PCS are working on at the present time. If you go to http://www.pcs.k12.vt.us you can see and hear many examples of the work that PCS bands have done in the past. This page is more easily update-able and, therefore, better for current work.

I know the titles seem silly. It's my sense of humor rearing it's ugly head. However, the work is very serious and challenging. Writing my own pieces allows me to align the music to the goals I have set for the students. It also enables me to upload it here legally, and to write what I think students might enjoy playing. I hope you enjoy listening to these pieces and that it makes it easier for students to learn them. Many pieces we learn will not have me as it's author. If you want to hear those feel free to contact me at school.

Be sure to check back here as the rest of the year progresses. These pieces are works in progress and sections might be added as students master this material. Also, of course, pieces will be added as students become ready for new challenges.
